Our Story
Hi, I'm Brooke. I'm the creator and designer behind Analog Nature, and I'm a woman who used to have incredibly painful periods and cyclical anxiety rooted in my menstrual cycle.
In 2020, after being prescribed antidepressants as another quick fix for my cycle-related symptoms, I decided I was done accepting that my period would forever be a painful, shameful experience. Instead of suppressing it, I cultivated curiosity. I leaned into the pain and got to know it more intimately. I was convinced there were answers within nature and deeper truths beyond my immediate comprehension. This pain guided my desire to find solutions rooted in the natural world.
The more I inquired with my body and listened deeply, the more natural solutions revealed themselves. I started interviewing healing arts professionals whose practices were rooted in nature and documenting craft and wellness practices that shed light on our cyclical rhythms. I began crafting natural remedies with the help of naturopaths and aromatherapists, testing solutions that helped other menstruating bodies. And I began crafting yoga flows and creating art rooted around the rhythms of my cycle. The more I learned and created, the more I wanted to share.
My cycle is no longer a painful, shameful experience. I now experience it on a somatic level as empowering and wisdom-filled, a natural rhythm that harmonizes us with the seasons and cycles around us and allows our creativity to flow freely in reverence to nature. I've come to realize this process is more about unlearning and remembering our true nature. Analog Nature is my ongoing thesis and creative practice studying our cyclical nature. My botanical blends, the almanac, and seasonal artist collaborations are all part of this exploration, aspiring to reconnect us with the rhythms we've forgotten and put us back in harmony with the earth. Helping us remember that we ourselves are nature, in a constant dance with her melody.

Our workflow
EXPERT CRAFTED BOTANICALS
Our blends are developed with clinical aromatherapists and naturopathic physicians to foster harmony with your inner seasons and cycles, as well as the broader natural rhythms. We hand‑blend and bottle everything in Oregon. All products are third‑party tested to ensure they contain no synthetic fragrances or pesticide residues.
PURE SEASONAL INGREDIENTS
What grows each season matches what our bodies need, showing a natural balance between nature and health. We use pure essential oils sourced from the regions where they grow best, mixed with organic fruit oils picked at their peak and sustainable base oils to respect this seasonal knowledge. For example, we use rosehip oil in winter, prickly pear in spring, plum in summer, and grapeseed in autumn. These oils support your body’s natural rhythms and connect you with the changing seasons.
COMMUNITY CONNECTION
We are always learning from one another and the Earth we're part of. We value growth that emerges through community, cooperation, and inspiration. This reciprocal approach helps us care for ourselves, others, and our planet. Our Almanac shares seasonal wisdom from healing arts practitioners and creatives, while our seasonal workshops create spaces for people to connect with each other and with nature.
CREATIVE COLLABORATION
For our 30 ml oil labels, we collaborate with artists who develop personal rituals with our blends and create analog art inspired by their experiences. Beyond oils, we partner with a global community of artisans to craft small-batch handcrafted natural products that honor natural rhythms and cycles. Our focus is on working with creators dedicated to handmade, heart-centered work inspired by nature.
